My father and his friends based the name of the hedge fund they started on the name of a pub that they used to frequent and almost bought. So maybe name it after a place or something that is special (but that doesn't sound too personal or sentimental) to you. If I were starting a firm I would name it Hawkshead--it's a village I frequently visit and absolutely love.
