It doesn't seem to last long enough for me in order to secure a kill. I mostly use that in order to escape things. But whenever I'm not using it I feel like I'm too slow when spamming my auto attacks.

You are supposed to keep her running hot. She has a stupid high attack speed, I don't know why you feel like she's slow.

Plus you are supposed to get demonic grip like second item. You only chase down when you can secure a kill. That is if you are playing her like an adc.

I feel like people don't adjust their builds even in the most extreme cases though. Like 5 gaurdians building damage and one person by the end of the match on their team has a single magical defense item. It feels like going outside the meta gives you a huge advantage because people don't bother at all to react to the game around them, they just cement themselves into something that "works" and never go outside of it.
