I loved being the Roman Expedition in TLR and loved it but I've never done any other horde faction. Is it much different?

The troops suck at defending but hordes have some of the best offensive infantry in the game. They have a solid cavalry choice as well and if you pick a faction with germanic archers you are set. I don't know why you're complaining. All you fight are tier 1 and maybe some tier 2 roman spears / swords

I don't think anyone can really say they've "crushed" the huns. You either do it slowly, over the years through a bloody war of attrition or you pay them off.

Will other factions like Kislev or Tilea be playable in skirmish?

They obviously have units if they are on the map. And obviously not copy-pasted ones since that would be shit in campaign.

I hope kislev is playable eventually. I know almost nothing about warhammer but those guys seem the coolest from what I've heard. Even though they are mostly dead I guess.

We don't know yet, but probably. The only non-playable faction we've seen in action is the Bretonnians.

I honestly dont know the timeline at all so you're probably right. I just heard that their kingdom was mostly destroyed.

It will be interesting to see how flushed those minor factions are at launch, probably not that well but competent enough to put up something of a fight.

The Huns kinda work because they're stuck that way.
The gameplay between settling and migrating needs to be more smooth.

I mean were one to settle a city and then migrate a few years later the optimal gameplay goes:
>Demolish all camp structures
>Occupy city
>Play normally, upgrade city
>Demolish city
>Migrate
>Immediately camp next to your abandoned city to rebuild camp buildings

The best result is obviously to only settle once and never migrate again, but that's pretty boring and ahistoric for many tribes. Some factions even get bonuses for settling multiple times, which you'll never see because it hurts you too much.

You should also be able to convert depending on the religion of the areas you're passing through.

The one without a shit nationality or shit associated animal.

I've gone full stacks of upwards of 5-6k men filled with horse archers, archers, spearmen, and cavlary and these roaches won't die.

The only way to take cities as the huns in my experience is to have a horde filled with infantry and onagers and support with another horde if you feel the need.

As far as I'm aware only Humans can become vampires and vampires are easily as competent at magic as elves. Liche priests were human untl they discovered immortality through their rituals and shit. Some chaos sorcerors are pretty good as well.
