On that note, if you constantly lose at 0 LP, is that the highest risk of being demoted? I assume constant losses degrade MMR regardless of your own performance?

And do you need to lose "X" amount of games in a row at 0LP, or does hitting 20-40 LP and dropping to 0LP have the same effect?

It's almost like the entire DPS/healer/tank trinity was an invention of single player games and PvE MMORPGs where aggro manipulation was huge, and tanks don't belong in a PvP game.

Fundamentally flawed idea. Tanks have to do damage, otherwise you could literally just ignore them and walk away. Which in itself makes tanks a fundamentally flawed concept in league, since a champion that deals enough damage to be a threat while being a big tanky fuck invalidates squishy DPS.

your mmr depends on your wins and losses only, not your personal performance.
you can guess whether you're at risk of demoting by looking at the ranks of the players you're playing with/against. if you're at silver 5 0lp and playing against people at bronze 3 every game, you better pick your game up.

it's not a matter of losing x games or hitting 0lp, it's your mmr (which, for inexplicable "ranked anxiety" reasons, is hidden from view).
