Hero, Siege, Piercing, and Chaos are still in the game. iirc though, nothing did chaos damage after 6.86, and nothing does piercing damage after this patch.

Originally, the game had every WC3 damage type. Piercing, Chaos, Hero, Normal, Heavy, Light, Siege, Composite, Magical, Physical, Pure. Same with armor types. Strong, Weak, Soft, Fortified, Normal, Hero were the armor types.

It's a poor mans MKB mixed with a poor mans Dadelus.
