Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

A couple times I've been caught with pretty low rad resistance and took a hefty amount of rads from them. It's sort of difficult to balance though - really everything in the game is cake when you get to higher levels, making it usually frustrating to encounter anything really tough early on.

I like the idea and they looked cool at first, but like everything else Bethesda do, it's held back by dumding-down for casuals. Radstorms should be more dangerous, just giving 1 rad per second for every flash of lightning is pathetically weak. Also going indoors within the over-world space should protect you.

Every time I run into a new zone it's flat and featureless and sometimes loads without objects or enemies until I've been there for ten seconds or so.

This can be extremely annoying, especially if all of a sudden I spawn right in the middle of a deathclaw mating ritual
