This is a meme. There is absolutely nothing worse than feeling helpless, and when you're shit at the game you're helpless. Brushing aside shitty players and racking up damage is FUN. This game is a different kind of pain to good players relative to bad players. The good players that actually hate this game are retards that just need to stop playing because their issue is with the game and not personal.

The more good you are, the more you realize all the stupid shit your teammates pull and how they fail at the most basic things, including shooting the enemy.
And you get mad at them for how stupid they are

That's an entirely separate issue to how skill affects fun. Being good means you'll have more fun, realizing that your teammates are shit is something even bad players can do.

In the current metagame, you can literally sit at high altitude in a German heavy, disregard your team, wait for the shambling remains of the enemy team to come searching for you and kill enough to win comfortably by superiority.

This thing drives like someone tied a rock to the back of it but man is it a great TD.
