Is Seinarukana any good? I've played it until the first school attack, and holy shit I want to poke my eyes out. Does the gameplay/story redeem its shitty characters?

Did you ever play Aselia? The gameplay is like that, only quicker and better. The story and characters are worse than Aselia's from what I've seen so far, though.

I'm not the same person as he, but Moogy doesn't seem to be going around saying it. Garejei's had excerpts up on his blog for a while now, and based on those excerpts he's widely seen as one of the few people capable of wrestling the Japanese into some sort of English equivalent.

Yes the translation on his blog reads well. But then why does Tokyo Babel read like it was translated by someone dumb trying to seem smart?
I agree that the action is translated well but all the dialogue is so so awful and I don't mean the stupid "yummers" or "grinnity-grin" stuff. You can see when you read it, a superfluous word or pause here, some English that doesn't quite fit there. It makes the characters sound dumb and inconsistent.

All you EOPs are always going to desire to have it translated and always wonder good it is forever.
The only salvation EOPs have is subahibi and muramasa but, as you can see, both are seemingly going to be stalled for(ever) quite a while. Muramasa translation has to be recommenced and after that go through JAST processing which will add another 3 years. Subahibi is in Japanese Developer Hell where they don't care about the impatience culture of the West and release it whenever they feel like working at least 2 hours per week.
Both, if they ever come out, will be when we all have 4k monitors and have to put our faces 5 inches from the screen trying to read that 800 x 600 screen.

The general lack of coverage on weaboo media websites may be because said sites don't want to cover stuff with sex scenes, and while that isn't a problem for stuff like RD or TB, it becomes a problem with most VNs and thus, the publishers can't get a lot of opportunities to contact said sites for coverage
