>Doc is still useless because nobody ever goes down and there are way better gadgets to choose
>Montagne is still useless because it takes forever for his shield to fold back in and gives him no real ability to attack
>Blitz, and flashbangs in general, were nerfed to uselessness and Blitz still has issues with not being shielded properly by his shield

I understand the game is going to have favorites and Operators picked more than others, but it seems like Operators who *should* be good situationally just simply aren't, and you are better off going with the old standbys

Bandit's traps are completely useless; you can see and hear them and they deal almost no damage.
Kapkan's traps are nothing but newbie bait. At best, you put them behind a deployable shield, but even still no one will fall for them
Frost's traps are the only one that catches people and results in deaths, and yet are impervious to all gadgets, the least visible, and most durable

So Glaz and Thermite and Rook and Bandit?

I main Frost because I'm a Canadian, but mostly because she's OP as fuck.

I have only ever seen Kapkans trap kill 3 people - One was myself. One was the first day I got the game someone tripped one. The other two kills were during the glitch period that would make the laser invisible - tripped one of these traps because I didn't know it was a thing. Cleared a doorway, looked for the laser, didn't see shit, BOOM. People would rarely trip it, but it would happen. Still didn't make him useful enough to be a staple but it actually made him useful enough to pick once in awhile.

But the game is horribly balanced - yet Ubisoft wants to "preserve" the balance for esports. If you are going to throw caution to the wind and have about 8 of your 22 operators be pure dogshit, why even bother selling the game as competitive or having meta.

Frost is so out of touch with their own game it's laughable. The fact they gave her a fucking WW2 era SMG just shows they don't really care about making a serious game.
