There are a few good Jhin blogs out there with some okay writing and interesting theories, but they're rare.

Honestly, the only LoL RP blog I truly respect is this Yasuo one that delivers consistently good art and is almost always on character, sans some occasional gay shit. Shits on nearly all of the others I've come across out there. It's actually fairly impressive and managed to get me into the the actual posts, and I really only visit RP blogs for art searches a good 80% or so percent of the time.

But at least reaction images that come from that site are fun and make for good meme material, at least.

It's easier for people to recognize and get used to just a few new icons at a time since everything else is familiar and instantly recognizable. That lets you just focus on the new things. If they change everything at once you have to relearn all the icons and makes processing the new stuff harder since its spread out over matching a lot more icons with their respective items. Since icons are so important in quickly recognizing enemy builds and such in game it's good design to introduce this stuff gradually when they can.
