Darkend: good exploration, unmemorable "bosses"
Lifeless Vaults: 5 bosses in a dungeon with some custom enemies, challenging but doable with Souls-like combat albeit with some great difficulty
VIGILANT: some Russian's love letter to Dark Souls, but again it's still Skyrim combat and shit. no good english translation yet

quality and pyromancies? if you want viable pyromancies and also don't want to overlevel, you're not going to be going quality. pyromancy needs faith and int, at least 30 in each. get a raw weapon

You're going to be SL 150, otherwise Knight is good, already has 10 Att, good melee stats, and 2 points off some basic pyros

I got hard from that moveset and range.

L1 > L2 > R2 is a true combo of 900+ damage in pvp and the rolling L1 use the two swords to poke the enemy (but it's also a huge parry bait)

And they scale in B/B in refined so it's the very cool quality build weapon too.

i actually have no trouble believing him; people got softbans in ds2 for x360ce (to use controllers that weren't 360 pads), borderless windowed tools (whitelisted by pretty much every other game), unofficial patches to fix the weird 60fps bugs that persisted for YEARS, deadzone fixes (because for whatever reason there were tremendous bugged deadzones when using controllers on pc), etc

there were also cases of people getting softbanned for just picking up an item another player dropped that happened to be a +99 rapier or what-the-fuck-ever

fromsoft's anticheat is an afterthought; they don't need it on consoles, so they have a half-assed tool for pc that kind of works (despite plenty of CE users roaming free)
