SL 120 NG******(6) faith player who desperately tried to make anything lightning, darkmoon blade or buff-in-general related worthwhile here
lightning blade, darkmoon blade and ~*dark blade*~ are all terrible. you need 50-60 faith to get worthwhile returns from them and you're unable to put more than 20~ into dex+str while maintaining semi-good hp and stamina
which means that if you had simply gone 40/40 dex/str quality and used a resin, you'd be doing the same or even more damage than going 20/20 str/dex + 60 faith.
split damage is an absolute mess in das3 due to resistance math/mechanics, stay very far away from it.
the best weapon buff from faith is Blessed Blade, due to very small faith requirement, zero scaling and flat AR bonus damage rather than split elemental. the best faith buffs in general are sacred oath and deep protection, which both have issues stacking unless you do some mumbo jumbo backflipping with them
please don't invest in faith, stay far as HECK away from that garbage. i say this as someone who has played a faith buffer in every souls game, if that means anything
