Tank items as a whole are not busted

Sunfire/IBG are busted because they provide nearly similar mitigation to their more defensive counterparts like Randuins/Frozen Heart while giving tanks a shitload of damage at the same time. The latter has already been addressed and the former is catching nerfs in 6.9 anyways.

We don't need a repeat of S3/S4 where there was zero fucking reason to run true tanks because they blew up just as fast as everyone else.

because 1 armor is not 1 ad. 1 armor gives you 1% more effective health. 1 ad gives you 1 more damage on each autoattack. and then there's the other stuff those stats do.

defense also doesn't help you kill stuff unless you can outlast their damage. whereas offense is directly more damage... but only as long as you can make use of it.

When you put Sunfire's burn in conjunction with Grasp which is ALWAYS up thanks to the burn aura as well as whatever tank your building it on's base damages it adds up.

any tank on 0% isn't scary at all but when they hit 30%+ they have shit up constantly combined with IBG procs/grasp/the fact that their kit is slows means they stick to you like fucking glue and are constantly dealing small amounts of damage

On it's own which does at least 33 magic dps, since you should have it around level 7-9 completed, maybe thats not a lot but any melee engage champion can have that stack up. In a skirmish with someone who has sunfire cape on, you can easily have that do over 100 damage on its own
