The F-4 only has 4 sparrows and 4 sidewinders.

I played a couple, waste of time. Maybe if there were more 6/8 player rooms.

Nope, it's identical to normal coop aside from a better rank bonus, just like special raids. You might get a little better score bonus, but that's only because the extra enemies to kill in the third phase mean you'll get more points than you would normally. It's only DM modes that change the amount you get from score bonus.
