WIP tier list. Discuss.

>it's a "team mates picking sledge, ash, castle and rook every round" episode.

3rd for Tachanka.

Pretty solid rankings.

couple things though.

I believe Ashs G36 has better range than the R4.

Blitz is okay but usually a shield recruit with frags is better because of a smaller profile, quicker, and better loadout options.

Also which gun does IQ have that is faster than Twitchs Famas?
this one is more my /k/ autism but Fuze has a GPMG not an LMG. LMGs are chambered in an intermediate carriage while GPMGs are chambered in full sized rifle cartridges. His PKM shoots 7.62x54r the same round as Glazs OTS-03.

>Win 2 Multiplayer rounds with IQ

>I believe Ashs G36 has better range than the R4.
it does have better falloff damage, but it's only by 7m and the R4's base damage is more anyway.

>aug
>sanic speed
>purple sneakers
It's not so bad, honestly

So does anyone ever actually play for objective in this game?

Im new but after 10 hours of playtime every match is still pretty much a deathmatch. Is it ever even worth it to try and escort the hostage out or defuse the bomb?

yes, keep playing and you'll see it more. at 10 hours you really have no idea what's going on and a lot of this game is map knowledge. i'm at 175 hours and escorting/diffusing are crucial for winning.

>ash's unstable as fuck r4
>good at range

>sledge not A tier with his quiet multiuse quick breach tool and god tier mac 11 and grenades, offensively only challenged by ash's r4 and twitch's famas at close and close-medium range and unchallenged at long range

>blitz
>best shield

>glaz
>useful at all except against shitters

>unstable as fuck r4
huh? no other gun has given me so many window peeker headshots in the entire game. it's recoil/rate of fire ratio is godlike.

Well I think glaz is fun, especially on kanal

the R4 has too much side to side recoil and has larger recoil randomization than the other rifles. The g36 is superior at range with less damage dropoff and more stable predictable recoil, despite having larger vertical recoil

I want to bury my face in those DPs

It's not that people aren't playing the objective, they're actually playing it very well. Most rounds the objective does come into play, because defenders are going to be in there to prevent the attackers from securing it or whatever.

For hostage, you can easily win a round as attackers if the defenders keep their eye off it for a few seconds. Most of the time a hostage is grabbed, the round will be won by the attacker making a very quick escape, or their teammates shooting down the remaining defenders as they scramble to chase.

>recruit not in the list at all

wtf

This. Blitz is b tier at best. If there's going to be a shield in A tier, it would be fbi recruit shield

also

>blitz is somehow above fuze when fuze is objectively the better shield operator

the fuck are you doing famalam

don't tell me you're a console pleb making this list

I like mountain dew though

I hope we get a THICK female operator

or at least a 3 armor one

You reminded me of a game last night on yacht.

The hostage was on the room with only one window and one door next to the ships helm. We had a Montagne and a Shield Fuze left to their one recruit(5 man running all shields on def/all shotgun on att recruits. I'm trying to give callouts and advice cause these guys are kind of bad.

Fuze grabs the hostage and repels down out the window while the recruit is stuck shooting at Montagne blocking the only door with his shield up after I tell him to set up in the entrance.

So satisfying

>mountain with no nitro cells left on defense
das it mane

Does anyone know what "Blackbeards" new ability is? I keep hearing a shield and a rifle... how is that a special ability?

>how is that a special ability?
exactly

He apparently has side shields on his gun, guessing like glaz's flip scope? Fucked if we know, ubi's "reveal" was a fat guy blathering about valkyrie and nothing else with only a promo image to show for it.

he has a shieldgun, like buck has gungun

Thermite needs to have his grenades taken away and given to another operator. He's already the single most important operator in the game, he doesn't need frags to make him even more powerful.

Is it just me, or is yacht like the best tachanka map?

It was the perfect storm for Montagne to not suck dick at everything.

It's probably going to be OP as fuck.

If it's a shield like Army of Two that block headshots then he's going to be a power house unless it really obscures his vision to where he gets tunnel vision and has no peripheral vision. Still that's pretty powerful set up on a hallway or another long sight line where he can cover most of his lower body and just peak down a lane unopposed.

Ubi is a joke and will be the main contributing factor to the death of this game. The Division is already belly up.

Sure. Clearing the objective room sometimes means wiping out the defensive team if they're all in that room. Which results in a victory before the objective. Only time it doesn't is if defense has roamers somewhere else.

Barb wire is really underrated I love having a whole team block off a section of the map

I like the frags though. It's like a consolation prize for having to use his shitty gun.

inb4 sledge/anyone with frags

Who else /afkfarmingforiceskins/ here?

Who /comfilylistenstopodcastsinbetweenmatches/ here?

I've actually never into podcasts, I wouldn't know which ones to listen to or even how to find them

it's only really bad if you dont have some of the more necessary operators (i.e. thermite, thatcher)

Bill Burr's MMPC and The Joe Rogan Experience are comfy to listen to while waiting to connect to a server

Still slows them down and makes noise and stops drones and it can be electrified by Bandit.

Podcast apps on the phone bro. Or direct from websites. Check out Radiolab and Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, even if you don't like history you'll like it. Especially the fucking Mongolian Wrath of the Khans series. We're talking literal pyramids made of skulls, the largest city in the world razed to rubble, slaughters so complete and so large they took from dawn until dusk to finish. Shit was brutal.

>apps on the phone bro.
Well that would explain why I couldn't into it, considering pic's my phone. And yeah, heard all the zany things the mongorians did, like that one empire they just wholesale removed, the plagueapolts, and how khan raped so much a giant chunk of modern asians are his descendants.

This series is more about the Mongolians in the West. Like how they buttblasted Baghdad and made them promise to come help when the Mongolians summoned them, but they didn't come. So the Mongolians came back and buttblasted them a second time. Or how the Mongolians humiliated the retarded Russian/Ukrainian kings of the era and would have invaded Poland too except the Great Khan died and they had to go back and vote for a new Khan. But you can get all this on websites. Dan Carlin's old episodes (like 4 or more years old?) are pay to play but worth the price. Each episode is like 4 hours long for $2 and contains a shitload of research from many sources. I also like his WW1 series. Never knew it was such a badass war. Of all the wars I would not have wanted to be a soldier in that one.

dude I have the best fucking idea ever

>make a a simple macro to afk in matches
>knock down my stats from losing so much
>when I actually play I will wreck the other team???

profit???? xDD

Wait hold up, so like the black ice skins are on sale for renown now, the normal CTU ones were on sale before? Shit, I missed my chance to get those MURRICA skins

guess whose nades are getting replaced with stun nades. Also buck is loosing his wall charges.

Is he getting frags though?

Source?

That's fine by me if what you're saying turns out to be true. I'm guessing nothing will be done to improve flashbangs further though.

I also can't see Thermite being picked less because of this change either, he's too much of an asset not to have.

smokes

Idk, I get long range with kills with it but it feels like half-luck. It's very jumpy with the ACOG

>Two players with shad as a prefix in their names
>They both have shadshit avatars

>mfw looking outside on some maps

youtube.com/watch?v=oY9m2sHQwLs

So how good/bad do you think the new operators will be?

...

shieldgun will either be very good or very useless

Rifle shield will either be incredibly broken because shields are shit or incredibly shit. Cameras might be super strong or mediocre.

fuck off ya chink

>Tachanka is a Zaku

Too many god damned shields. Fuck off with shields already Ubsifoft. Why not something different? Like a fiber optic camera that can fit through drone holes or holes in walls? Or a guy who can repair walls? My ideas are shit too but at least it's not a 5th or 6th shield guy.

don't bully, Frost

So what if there was an operator who could reinforce a reinforced wall, so that it takes two exothermic charges to be destroyed?

Would this be unbalanced? Would it invalidate mute/bandit?

doesn't twitch have 3 armor

>yacht
I've been playing for two fucking days straight and haven't gotten Yacht ONE SINGLE TIME

why is this?

She has 2 armor

>tfw Fuze, Montagne and Blitz in squad
>all of them using shields

Female Tachanka skin WHEN

New classes when?

>14 year old whiteboi on the mic who uses shield recruit every time on attack questioning the tactics of our last teammate alive

11 minutes just hold on user, be right back okay? Don't download without me!

Updated the Attackers tier list using input from the thread.
pastebin.com/iGXLeh5H

Drafted up the Defender tier list as well.
pastebin.com/4njQyryn

Once these are established, a combined overall tierlist will be drafted. Again, Canadian operators are not listed as I do not have personal experience and there has not been enough discussion in the thread as to where they should fall.

>blitz
>montagne
>fuze
>2x shield recruit
NOTHING ON EARTH CAN MAKE IT FALL

>toss nitro
>all die
>laughing Smoke.jpg

really?

>tfw read
's post
>envisioned a 5 man shield wall phalanx
>caught up in how amazing that'd be

>read you post
>realize I'd forgotten about nitro

fug

>ignoring DLC, SAS and Spetznas are the only two military groups
>for SAS:
>one has frag grenades
>two have nitro
>for Septznas
>one has nitro

I am certain that giving all Russians the option to take Frag/nitro would make them useful, regardless of who is defender and who is attacker. They are spetsnaz. They do not have a good history of preventing civilian casualties anyway. Why should they not be the operators with the most explosives?

;)
I'll just miss that cool operator moment where you blow the walls and quickly toss a frag in. And I agree that flash bangs are underutilized. But it's because they "suck". The range is small but the good thing is that they are distance based and not directional. You can be close and have your back turned but still be affected.

Based on the setup for attackers, Rook should be the only A lister defender. Rook armor is just too huge an buff for the defenders for him to not be a necessity. Without Rook, doc wouldn't be even half as useful.

Also as much as I like a good Doc, he's definitely a C lister teetering on D lister. A doc has great potential as a defender, but reaching that potential is extremely rare and requires rook to even have a chance. I'd still pick a doc over a mute or castle though.

Jaeger may have best DPS auto, but it's less stable than the SMGs and thus not a headshot king compared to most of the others. His ability is of average usefulness. It may save people sometimes from a frag, but usually fuse strikes aren't a problem for players who've played more than a few hours and can sometimes be considered a detriment during hostage. He's probably lower B tier, below bandit since Bandit can do the bandit trick and waste the enemy team's thermite, making bandit the only effective entry denial character plus bandit's all around gadget versitility. Jaeger is just a hard hitting fast roamer, but doesn't contribute all too much else.

Wish pulse was up higher, but he is either extremely effective, or not at all. He definitely is king on tight maps as a roamer though, and can easily waste half a team quickly in one sweep.

also kapkan has level 3 armor. That makes 4 defenders that have it

>ctrl+f hack
>none found
How is there to mention to the abundance of hackers in this bullshit? The game used to be so fucking fun when you didn't have wall hackers in literally every ranked game and literally every other casual game.

Welcome to every Ubisoft game ever. I'm not joking.

>they think they will build esports like this

Because no one plays ranked anymore

>The game used to be so fucking fun when you didn't have wall hackers in literally every ranked game and literally every other casual game.
ranked was always infested with hackers, and casual still remains fairly hacker free. I've got 350 hours in casual and I've run into about 4 or 5.

I got plat3 without hacks in the first ~3 months. It wasn't so bad until they admitted to giving everyone 5 changes before the permaban

chances*

I usually stay out of ranked, but I remember most of the hacking complaints I saw were in January and February time where people say that hackers were literally in every other ranked match.

Epi pls

I afked for the night last night and now I have 30k renown.

I want to buy Frost but at the same time I'm worried that they'll drop the price of Frost with 3.0

buy a black ice skin bundle instead :^)

>worried that they'll drop the price of Frost with 3.0
Why?

>switch audio to 5.1
>turn on dolby virtual surround sound via sound card

I'm digging this sound signature. Even if it's not doing anything special it makes footsteps thunk more.

I kind of want to but I know that'd be stupid.

>not wanting sexy skins

baka

I just looked at them. I didn't realise they had a stupid Maple leaf on them. Now I don't want them at all.

>Canadian update
>complaining about a maple leaf

...

>putting the symbol of another country on your weapon

>muh patriotism

Amerifat detected

so get it for the canucks you dumbass

>same amount of money and you get the skins for half the operators/guns

Nah, get them for FBI
