I used to have the archie sonic comics but I lost interest when the first issue simply retold genesis era adventures with no continuity. Where should I pick up again if I want an actual sonic story?

The times I used to stay up as a kid playing Sonic through the nights/early morning were so much fun. Reminds me when I was happier and loved video games so much.

Beating Metropolis and later the Death Egg Robot for the first time as a kid.

100% Generations and CD. Not a hard goal at all, besides Generations crashing a ton, but it felt nice.
Let's be honest, being a Kinect exclusive meant that it was dead on arrival and Zero Gravity was the real culprit.
Free Riders had the best soundtrack of the three though.
Too bad, Riders was a bit niche but I thought it was a lot of fun. Good job killing it with gimmicks...

I didn't think Generations was very good.
The classic Sonic gameplay wasn't really fun party because the physics weren't the same as classic games and also because the later level designs were awful.
Modern Sonic gameplay was fine but it's just the same hold-x-to-boost rollercoaster gameplay which gets boring fast.
Since NiGHTS is all about giving you good dreams, they'd probably be into it.

Look, I do like the Robeatnik Mix, but it's really not that special.
I still don't believe the story of Jun Senoue listening through OCRemix Sonic music and thinking that Jones was good enough to be hired. Even back when Jones was active on OCRemic, there were better artists doing Sonic music.
Music that didn't sound like as if they moved just a few buttons for effects and called it a day.
More like Jun tried to contact others but Jones was the only one to believe that it was the real Senoue.

Never beat it. Should emulate that now that my computer isn't a potato attached to a monitor.
I didn't enjoy Colors or Generations. The 2d sections which make up something 85% of the game weren't fun and just made me want to replay the Genesis games.
Unleashed was only okay.
Boom is bad, but not nearly as horrendous as everyone says it is. It's definitely not worse than 06 like a lot of people have been saying.
I think a lot of the Sonic/Tails Game Gear games are good.

Sonic can't afford to be bad anymore. There's little leeway, if it's bad it automatically gets lumped into comparisons with 06.
Drawing people is good practice.
Drawing naked people is better than drawing clothed people to learn anatomy.
Drawing weird poses from weird angles is good to learn dynamics and anatomy and what the human body can and cannot do.
Porn has nothing to do with it. It doesn't hurt, but it's just as useful as any other lifedrawing.
The only instance where porn is detrimental is when your work quite clearly looks like porn, and if you're trying to draw kids characters and they have hips and lips like pornstars and are posed in quite clearly porn referenced poses you might make your audiences uncomfortable.
Unless of course you want to target rich commissioners and don't mind being known as a sonic porn artist in which case you'd be drawing porn anyway so this question is irrelevant.

Just like anything. Listening to advice, be it your own or from somebody else, will be more important then anything.
But I think it might be one of the best ways to learn anatomy. And it will also help keep your interest up in a slump. if you don't know what to do. just do something lewd. and then put it on the booru for us.
