Reading into it seems that claws/painting guardian sword have the fastest parry, ceastus and buckler have the most parry frames, and parrying dagger is cucked.

With how much 3 takes from 1 compared to 2 it just makes 2 seems like kind of a side story. 2 is a good game in its own right but you'd be fine to skip it for now, or forever really.

Is there anyway in DS3 to reduce the amount of endurance spent on a swing? I am using great axe and the fucker uses so much endurance.

Yhorm isn't a Dark Souls 2 giant weirdly enough. The other ones are but Yhorm isn't. You can see his face under his hood. It might just be especially effective against certain giant types like what Yhorm comes from. Hell it could just be an Anti-God weapon and they are just referred to as Giants now.

Go through all the games in order and then make your mind up. DaS2 gets a lot of unfair criticism mainly because it's not as good as 1 or 3 but it's still a pretty great game.

NG+ is for +rings and achievement whores, not anyone actually looking for a challenge.

Best bet is to just get a friend to give you the calamity ring at the high wall.

The player's firelink is probably the future with dark firelink being the present. Our firelink is disconnected from the rest of the game via warping, and on top of that there's Irina's betrayal which might've been what caused the shrine to become flameless in the present.

I was shaking. It was in funcombs after the bridge. 2 phantoms and the host. I hop down. Phantoms come in for the easy kill. I roll through them and kick one after the roll. He gets knocked off the edge. Second one is already swinging. I roll back; here comes host behind me. I roll back a second time, host swings at where I was and blocks his phantom so the phantom goes around the host and gets too close to the edge, taking a heavy bolt from my arbalest to the chest and getting staggered just enough to slip off the side. Host is already rolling towards the bridge. Get him with the xbow, granting me enough time to catch up and begin the longsword rape. Host is complete shit and tries to parry fish and I just buffer my attacks so he whiffs every attempt Finish him with charged poke as he leaps through the air at me getting that sweet counter hit.

Felt damn good.
