I agree, he's still arguably broken too.
I think the old cooldown nerf on his ulti wasn't the right course. Void with a poor mans shield has near 70 damage, in lane. He also has a bash steroid too. On top of this, he has an escape that can mitigate damage.

The thing that is supposed to distinguish hard carries like Spectre, is their uselessness in lane. Void, while not that great in lane, has a high base damage for a fucking hard carry and the ability to hold his own perfectly fine.

One top this. I also like making a comparison with him and Enigma. Enigma has a 4 second AOE BKB piercing disable, which he needs to be channeling to make happen.

Void on the other hand has an AOE BKB piercing disable that does not need to be channeled, while ALSO being a hard carry hero and being able to right click.

The hard carry route of getting DPS items on Void, even only 2-3 of them, is still really good on him.

but if you are at 40 minutes and the enemy team has not won, you actually just win the game on the back of that walking chrono
