I know that most of people are turned off by the combination of dungeon crawling and touch combat, but I can't stress out enough how amazing Severed is.
The exploration is truly satisfying, and every single room is handcrafted and not copypasted similarly other bigger games. The game also keeps teasing you about places you can't reach, building up the experience, the music and the minimalistic but appealing visual design help a lot in this regard.
Also the gameplay is tight as fuck, keeping you always on edge: the touch based input is not an issue at all, it's the other way around actually.
The fact that the game is a Vita exclusive and really cheap, made impossible for me to resist the tentation to buy it D1, also the devs are really passionate and cool guys.
But I can understand if a lot of people are turned off by such a strange game anyway.
