The mod inspector says that they don't get any slots aside from 2 misc ones, and its stats aren't good enough to survive more than 1 or 2 PD at most.

He has 120 mages, so research shouldn't be the problem, and his army should have won by sheer weight of numbers (and also not being mostly chaff) if it had similar buffs.

No clue. It was behind all of Jotun's other troops most of the battle, and disappeared at some point. I would assume it flew forward into melee and got itself killed but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I had Army of Lead/Will of the Fates, but Jotunheim had those and Mass Regen/Wind of Death/Curse of Stones/Fog Warriors/etc etc. Basically all the end-game spells. I didn't have much path diversity outside of my pretender because I am bad at this and my research wasn't that great because for most of the game my mages were driving off Arco/Agartha.

Seems to happen when you hit level 9 in a school. At a guess, the RP per turn is added, then on the next turn it corrects itself and removes the extra which was wasted from the graph.

Literally couldn't watch the battle that opened with me walking into Master Enslave x2 in the first round. Mass regened, army of fooed, reliefed, fog warriors, demon knights do not kill each other very fucking fast at all.
