Playing through as sorcerer was painful but pyromancer isn't that bad.

If you are trying to parry, it is worse than anything with a real parry animation.

It is only better for getting a quick parry out in between attacks, good against ganks or big weapons that you want to escape

It is MUCH worse for partial parries
It has a MUCH worse timeframe for parrying quicker weapons

the only benefit is the quicker parry, that is literally it. stop forcing this stupid caestus parry meme, i've seen like 20 hosts in the past 3 hours of invading just absolutely spamming the shit out of caestus parries, backstabbed every single one of them

Sunlight Spear is not entirely terrible at point blank because of the self-explosion damage. Lightning and Great Lightning are slightly better than Farron Dart.

Best faith build is pretty much just Morne's Hammer, 30 faith and attuning some utility miracle.

At launch I don't know for 1, but after the last patch all forms of Lightning Spear were extremely high tier in PvE, valiantly mediocre in PvP
