i realy like 99, have 3 characters there atm
its worse than that, you can easily make a quality build at 99, at 120 you have greatsheilds and quality+buff weapons all over the fucking place

So now that people have had a nice decent play of DS3, what's the consensus on Farron Greatsword? I think the moveset is a little too slow and predictable for it to be anywhere close to a competitive PvP weapon.

Enough that you can do two r1s and still have a tiny bit stamina to roll.
More is recommended of course but I'd say that should be minimum whenever you use heavy weapons.

31 with fap ring is good enough for me. Can swing 4 times two handed. Or 3 with enough to roll away. Unless it's the fume then I can only swing 3 times with no roll and 2 times with one roll. Fuck the fume it's not worth it. Lorian's is better.

thank you all. i don't really want to level up to 120 but with 40/40 i'm not entirely sure how i can stay under without sacrificing vig. UGS are also maximum fun so i really enjoy using them

10 hours give or take of play time on that character. Spent the entire time popping embers and dried fingers + giant seed tree and then hiding in a corner, whenver they managed to find me I let them kill me. Managed to farm over 400k souls without really having to kill a single mob.
