Above-average PvE (self-evaluated) Assassin looking for a static to run and farm dungeons with in NA. Decently geared with 564 AP, 1600 accuracy, 56% crit rate, and 220% crit damage. I have cleared 4-man Asura multiple times so I'm familiar with the mechanics and can pull more than my own weight if the situation calls for it. I also have hundreds of yeti kills under my belt and have carried multiple lobbies posted here if anyone wants to vouch for my skill.

It's kinda garbage dps though so it's only really interesting if you have aggro issues which you kinda shouldn't be if you're good enough to clear the raid it drops from because it's apparently the hardest content in the game.

I'm almost there with all of my ss and stringers down and now working on ms then sfts.

The biggest factors are how you spend your day. Theres many dailies to do each day which gives you plenty of gold. And if you are the winning faction on your server things become much easier with like 65 soulstone a day and 3ms from ssp.

So thats 40/40 dailies a day, then doing dungeons themselves for stingers. You can sell the excess but it's silly since you'll always need more. With the drop rate going up, you can get the initial 2-3 drop per boss and like 10-17? bonus my range on that might be wrong but you get the idea.

Then you have all that fancy stuff such as professions or finding loot to sell.

Thanks. Yeah, they're really annoying. Earlier when I was there, I managed to consistently steal their guns/bombs, but they'd speed hack away when I'd try to kill them. It's really lame.

let's talk about the mechanics of health in bns and why it's unlikely to ever be a popular esport

BNS uses a type of health system commonly referred to as "tick max". if you're familiar with games like warframe and old school runescape you're familiar with the mechanics and why it's an issue for competitive play.

games that use tick max health calculate the damage you can do based on your opponets health. this means that if your opponent has 16,000 health the MAX damage you can do in 1 tick is 16,000. but that's fine you think, that means you can 1 shot them? but wait, theres more! if they regenerate health in the same tick as when you do damage, you can not kill them regardless of how much stronger you are. the damage that you can POSSIBLE do is calculate based on their health, and then they add health which means it will put them back at whatever the damage you did - the health they restored

the most common place this is seen is with summoner pets when they're being healed. like most heals in bns, this heals them every tick and thus makes it extremely hard to kill them NOT because they're actually hard to kill but because of the game constantly recalculating your damage to less than it should be.
