Serration is easy to get. Good place to go is Earth excavation. Or just ask someone here for it.

As a codex fag with 99% completion, it's much easier to just use a scanner manually, and look for orange blobs rather than relying on helios. It's faster too, and you can get double scans - which helios can't.

Double scan works with helios, and you can get quadruple scan if you're using stealth bonus + that widget from Simaris with only the synthesis scanner equipped.

The niggerton of health helps too.
