It was a scam.

Those that still wanted to play a progression tbc realm went and started a guild vengeace which is alive and has a bunch of people leveling.

Some people with characters already on excal are trying to beg people to join their guild even though it is a pay to win funserver. They tricked some people into rolling there but they promptly quit.

So now there's a couple excalibur shills in every thread causing trouble for the vengeance players.

It's just stupid.

They expected ~1.5-2.5k people would play, they got 8k+ Instead and the server was shitting itself every minute or so. When it finally "came up" for a few hours they found out it was in actuality a buggy untested server. The admins were very fishy and suspicious, down to outright lying.

PlayTBC launch obviously failed. They postponed to noon GMT+1 in may. Everyone that wanted TBC split between a few servers. Vengeance was first, but it couldn't handle the flood of players so it crashed a lot. Before admins could upgrade, many people declared the server shit and left. Hype train rolled on to looking4group. Server lags pretty heavily, but has the hype pop. Kind of shitty server, Kara is nerfed as fuck apparently and there are a lot of bugs / lag (especially in pvp). Soon as playTBC / any decent server comes back most people will probably hop to it.

Pickles has said this multiple times about tyrranis in discord.
