It appears that Demon blood allows you to age until you reach adulthood and then it stops it permanently. Or in the case of receiving it from the Demon King it stops it at your current state and has a chance of causing a mutation.

I figured the gods hadn't done anything about Rance just because they weren't aware of his existence until comparatively recently in the timeline. It's not till Rance 03 that graduates from being a low-level goon in the Keith Guild and becomes someone of actual importance in the world at large, and I imagine they left him alone after that just because they wanted to see what kind of trouble he could cause.

knight of zero is the exception, cause it doesn't mean that he can't command (zero) any knight, I think it was just to represent unlimited or something.
