Reminder we could have had a nice clean UI instead of the trash we got

First for what's your favorite mission

>that nice eye-catching UI
Why would 343 waste that

Not seeing any improvements in usability compared to current one. Just looks like current one with fancy effects and eye candy.
Pre game lobby is still trash.

>all this wasted potential

My favorites always been the second halo 2 mission

The first mission in CE has always been up there for me, but I like the Regret fight

>Latest Halo Community Update
>Link is not even the latest aymore

OP being lazy again.

To be fair, it is the latest "update"

We haven't exactly gotten a new one since last month, have we?

Is halo 5 ever fun?

No.

Well its not the latest "Community" update with all the Reach stuff revealed.

Has the reach stuff even been revealed yet? All we have is Wrath.

Most of it. All we need to find out is what is behind that ONI symbol in the REQ sheet.

Yeah, when you play with everyone and everyone drives scout hogs

>Most of it.
So they updated the REQ sheet and we for certain know the names of the new armors?

There was a leaked list of names a day or two ago, but all anybody cares about is that ONI req

There wasn't a leak of jack shit, you moron.

>no cloaked vehicles
C'mon 343 it would be cool.

>cloaked banshees
Never before have I wanted a banshee even faster and lower than before

Cawfee

...

Hawplite

Never ever, not in a million years

I want to see big predator cloak effect on a vehicle.

Green men!

that would be fucking great, just seeing a shimmering field coming in and then BOOM plasma missile

Maybe oni req is oni modified phaeton with cloaking field.

I'd be okay with that, seems like it could be neat

...

>muffled running in the 90's in the background

>campaign to make Elsa gay in a frozen sequel
343 making Arby and Chief start a relationship when?

second halo 1 mission will forever be etched in my brain.

Gay for who? The only other woman is her sister.
Great, now that gays got their rights, we're going for incest next, and germany is already trying for nerophilia.

>super fiesta
>spawn with prophets bane
>game ends
At least I managed to scare my teammate into walking off the map, kek

>you will never experience a Halo ring for the first time ever again

Silent Cartographer

Silent Cartographer really amazed me when I played it as a kid

Halo 3's The Storm, or Halo 5's Battle of Sunai'on (sp?)

I really like city battles with big fights at the end, and a constant storm both literally and figuratively with ships exploding overhead, and Sunai'on was really cool for being an alien city with two factions to fight against.

Scarab was definitely more fun to fight than Warden though.

Most of my love for CE is nostalgia, aside from The Library, which I genuinely loved despite the fact that nearly everyone else hates it.
2 Anniversary reminded me that I really don't like much of 2 looking back. Gravemind was cool, obviously, but even as a "city" fight I liked H5's more.

>city battles
Mombasa was fucking great to go through with a friend in co-op

Just came back from BvS.
Holy fuck.
What did I miss from you guys?

What else did you guys like about halo 5s campaign?

Only thing memorable was the underwhelming viewing of blue team and the Arbiter.

The Silent Cartographer

Wishing I could play Halo while it's broken for me.
Fucking thing doesn't let me join and I'm too lazy to hard reset my bone.

>the flood will never be relevant again

I, for one, liked that first instance of a mission in the campaign that had no fighting where you talked with a few citizens to find out what was going on before talking with Sloane.

Sure it wasn't the most "Halo" thing to do, but it was neat.

...and then they did it two more fucking times and it wasn't interesting anymore.

So when Infection comes out we're all gonna spend the week in customs, I'm guessing?

A decent movie.

If they fuck up the arena's infection, yes.

>Grifball
>Decent game going
>One accidental betrayal
>Get booted
>5 hour banhammer
I now remember why I don't play Grifball.

>infection will only be a weekend playlist
>it will be ranked

>it'll only allow solo queues

>it'll actually be FFA for once

Don't say such things.

Look inside yourselves, you know it to be true

Delta Halo

>He doesn't want /hg/ zombie anons to bully him

>mfw getting shown /hg/'s forge "map"

>tfw no /hg/ user to bully you as the zombie before sneaking up on you to make you squeak in fear
>tfw they'll never laugh and say how cute it was

Good. If you had any balls, you wouldn't be squeaking like a girl.

There's nothing wrong with getting surprised, droid.

hayai!

fuck off cerv

>50+ kills and 3 scores
>completely carrying team on my back
>one accidental betrayal
>booted
Yeah, fuck that noise.

>multiple tyrones
>[otherworldly screams]

031 Exuberant Witness.

[crowd cheering DE FE NSE]

I just got out of a CTF game where apparently I was the only one on defense and got royally fucked in the ass.

What's a fun mode to play besides FFA that won't make me furious over how shit my teammates are?

>/hg/ forge map
>it progressively gets worse
>even when we think it can't go any further beyond
And to think I just wanted to build a log cabin for /hg/ user

>mfw

>There could have been a spin off with S-II black team
>Instead they're killed off like nothing.
>343 is going to do this to the other S-IIs

Map name?

How could i forgot about that QT3.14

Fuck black team and fuck spartans. If 343 ever does a spin off it should be about a squad of marines, ODSTs or elites.

>Level design.
>Hidden paths, rooms and weapon stashes.
>Decent friendly AI for the first time in the series.
>Buck, Exuberant, Blue team.
>Sanghelios missions
>NPC interactions

>Decent friendly AI for the first time in the series.
Not on your fucking life.

This is like the 3rd time you have posted your shitty webm, go play the campaign for a second time and this time try to use your brain when you give them orders.
Also i said "decent", which is objectively true in comparison to previous games.

>If 343 ever does a spin off it should be about a squad of marines, ODSTs or elites.
>pic related
Have we learned nothing?

They don't follow orders as all. The friendly AI in 5 is objectively bad.

>Have we learned nothing?
Yes, we learned that the best campaign in the series isn't focused on spartan protagonists.

It's shame you got a broken copy then, i literally never had any of these issues with them.

I was referring to their current status when 343i got their hands on them.

Actually, the video from the second webm is from my brother, who plays his own copy on his own xbox in another city.
The game's friendly ai is objectively bad.

Oh yeah, fuck you for making me remember that. They could easily make a it about Alpha 9 and their missions between ODST and 4. Or just make a new marine/ODST squad.

Even if it's bad, it is still better than previous games.

Armor based on Alpha Nine when?

343 hates ODSTs so NEVER EVER

That's heavily debatable. And beyond that, just about all friendly AI in Halo is objectively bad, but 5's really stands out because you could argue that the friendly AI in the other games was supposed to die while 5's is supposed to be helpful. And the only time it's "helpful" is when you tell them all to shoot one guy and he dies in a second, which is you basically removing the AI part of them and turning them into Gundam-style funnels.

I thought marines were pretty good in 3.
Any problems weren't as noticeable as in 5 since they were just fodder.

>armor with real weight to it, placed in ways that make sense for protecting the chest and shoulders without fucking up flexibility

fucking never, 343 needs to maintain their 2edgy4u gottagofast artstyle

seriously halo 5 has the least realistic armor because fuck practicality, we're 343!

Kotetsu if you see this tell me:
How hilarious was that one guy talking all match?

>calls out EVERYTHING
>really excited whenever he gets a good weapon
>offers help all the time, just seems to show up at every firefight
>helps take bases back constantly
>just really, overly friendly all match long

It was great.

Also I finished my Warden kills with that assassination, FINALLY.

>fuck practicality, we're 343!

that probably explains why shields don't regen while running and the armor stops you mid-run when you lose your shields.

jesus christ, it makes zero sense.

these guys made the entire range of the motion detector spannable in less than a second and didn't think to make the thing any bigger

they're actually retarded, I swear to god.

Impossible. Their armor covers their shoulders.
>that enraging feel when the S4 concept art for armor has their shoulders well-covered
>the in-game models don't do it
It's like they accidentally placed the two nodes that hold shoulderpads too low.

Just give me ODST 2, dammit

What is your unpopular Halo opinion?

Reach was good.

I liked Halo 4 loadouts.

Halo 4 has the second or third best campaign in the series
