Why are people so adamant about change in CS:GO? People are incredibly positive about changes in Dota's meta but no people are so crazy about the AK-47 and the AWP. Maybe that's why Valve prefers catering to Dota more? Because the community is more potisive to their changes? Why else anyone work on CS:GO if people don't want change.

Furthermore who decides what gets added in CS:GO? Why are there only dual berretas? No dual-anything else? Why is the R8 in the game instead of a more well-known revolver, it's not like CS:GO is an FPS worth praising it's selection of guns.
