I thought TLoU was fantastic aside from the formulaic gameplay padding (hold triangle to give buddy NPC a boost, pick up plank/ladder, move wooden pallet). I'm sure U4 will have that, but at least there should be more variety.

U4's critical acclaim probably comes from the fact that it's the last game in the series, and it excels at what it is. If you're not into linear games, third-person shooters, or both, then obviously you're not gonna echo the reviewers' opinion.

Those were TLOU's ""puzzles"". From what I've heard, UC4 has proper puzzles like the rest of the series, and not shitty plank and ladder crap.

Taking a closer look it seems there's quite a few games on sale desu.
Rayman Legends for £10, Sleeping Dogs for £8 and Quantic Dream's interactive movie collection for £15.

Bit spoilt for choice. Rayman never really seems to drop below £10 which I've been waiting for for a while, is it worth it or should I hold out some more?

I preferred Rayman Legends to Gravity Rush, but I saw Legends go down to a similar price in the January Sale, and it's not difficult to find it cheap nowadays. Both are great games with some flaws, I'd expect both to get discounted in future. Gravity Rush went down to $1(!) on Vita a year back.
