Never mind I figured out how to proc it.
Basically spam your melee button, and then fire your weapon while trying to sheath it.
It doesn't work on the slower weapons but works on the faster ones. Specifically melee weapons with long holster times.
Can't find a list for the melee swing / sheath times so I'm just trying all of the ones that look interesting to swing around.
Confirmed to work: - Kunai - Motherforker - Poker (see webm) - Ursa Tanto Knife (sorta, it stays mostly off-screen) - Nova's Shank - Probably all the rest of the knives
Confirmed not to work: - Katana - Spear of Freedom - Morning Star - Selfie Stick - Machete - Weapon Butt - Fists - Brass Knuckles
It's only a cosmetic bug. But it's hilarious.
If you want to make it go away, just swing the weapon once more.
Maybe one of the melee perk decks might make the others work if they speed the swinging animations.
