If you're the room owner you receive bonus points. Also give more attention to VH rather than EX. Even if you don't do jack shit you still receive quite a bunch of points and gatcha tickets.
If you get over 1 mil honors consider yourself successful.

Golden/Silver badges gives gatcha tokens and lots of CP which is essential for those who are starting the game. Also there's the 50% elemental summon which will help you a lot.
If anything you're unlocking at least three new rank 3 classes at the end of this event. If that's not good enough for you then I don't know what is.
