You've got a literal bomb strapped to your XL engine thanks to the Gauss rifle. I'd switch to an AC/10 and swap the Streaks for SRM 4's. Tack a heat sink or two in too.

You can swap the jets into the torso and the ammo into the legs from the RT, then squeeze the sinks into the RT.

So unless my math is wrong. IS ER Large with Quirks + Modules = 1620 in range. Clan With Only 10% is 1628. Not much different there.

And it's still not enough. Clan lasers still outrange them with just the 10% module. With just a MK1 TC they outrange them slightly further.

Not to mention that IS ER Lasers have more heat without any extra damage like Clan Lasers.

I forget how modules stack with quirks but this sounds right.

Oh and you could easily find space for a TC with the tonnage you save from using clantech. Or use more heat sinks. Or use faster engines.

If IS had ERSLs and ERMLs they would be comparable to the Clan ones too, but they don't.

5% for TC1 I think? I never use anything more than that because the differences are marginal. It's like .5% beyond that.

So yes, IS still out ranges Clan. Think about it, IS gets all of it without the tonnage being taken. In order for us to get the Full 20% we have to spend up to 7 Tons I believe on the Largest TC.

The Clan version has no quirks of course, but it will have higher damage, better jump, still have superior range and it has more heat sinks. I could easily have dropped heat sinks to go faster if I wanted to as well. The IS version will have a slightly shorter burn time but that's its only advantage. 10%+10% range from Module and Quirks still isn't enough.

That's basically getting the same result in a different way. Really seems like the Clan differences are smaller than everyone makes it out to be.

The IS Jenner is still out ranging the clan. You basicly could put in an additional 12% in total for the clan. The IS will out dps the Clan due to its lower burn time.
