Sonic is Shadow is Silver

Not during these hours.

>looking for /ss/ pics of Tails
>found lot of gay stuff

Well, maybe you should get better taste.

Jamal Peppers is okay, but I think his work looks better when Amish is inking.
I wish Tyson was pencilling 281 and 282.

Neil deGrasse Tyson?

>Not being fine with that

Tyson Hesse.

Mike Tyson?

I wish there were more

>Go looking on e621
>Only new stuff is SFM

Who's that coke for?

SFM was a mistake.

There's very few straight fans in the fandom.

I'll be fair, Pepsi is awful.

So is Coke, though. I can't drink either without vomiting.

I would kill for someone to make decent lewd 3D models and release them into the wild.

>3D

I interrupt your Soda talk walk the following message:

Coke sucks, Pepsi is worse.
Mug rootbeer is superior to both.

Coke > Pepsi

Cherry Pepsi > Cherry Coke

This is fact. And off topic

I think it's best to stick with 2D where everything is perfect, even the imperfections.

So for the topic of Dulcy, should she get an entirely new personality or something closer to her SaTAM personality?

At this point I don't really care, I just wanted that godawful nosering gone and my wish was granted. She can go back to being a glorified bus for the main characters for ll I care.

3D modelling isn't about the models.

It's about the ability to make the models animate and move well, and know how to hide clipping and the like.

No matter how good the models are, if you have shitty animators, 3D is going to be garbage.

>decent lewd 3D models
Impossible

I think some things could work well in 3D, but I'm not completely convinced. I hate how most models are so terrible though, like with muscles and shit, what the hell.

>Mug rootbeer
This guy knows where it's at.

What's Sonic Team doing right now?

Panicking.

Working overtime and scrambling to finish up the anniversary mobile game before the last minute.

no funny kiss for you tonight user

Doing drugs and wonder what Sonic is.

Tayferret made a Pokemon Amie porn game, and it's pretty decent

Aside from Flareon, though
Coincidentally, Flareon happens to be the first one that was made by someone other than Tayferret
Needless to say, I don't exactly have high hopes for future additions

...

>Pokemon Amie porn game
The mere thought is enough to give me a hearty chuckle.

Pokemon porn is near straight up bestality, bros.

It actually looks good, though

And is fairly easy to mod, which is good when I feel like jerking off to dumb degenerate hyper shit

Where's the Sonic discussion?

Depends on the pokemon, assuming it's on-model in the first place

Not that it matters, since there's nothing wrong with bestiality anyway

...

Obviously not here. Don't you know, this place isn't for Sonic

Which Classic design is better?
American or Japanese?

start some

>Sonic official facebook only posts memes

This is so sad

Japanese

Did you expect something else?

Japanese. You know, given what's known about how things were between SoJ and SoA back then, I would have expected SoA's design to come from SoJ and vice versa.

It's radio silence on the next game, so there's not much else they can do.

yeah from what I can tell it's hard to like tails and be straight

SEGA is just really weird when you think about it.

Ian Flynn ships TailsXHoney

>Mug
>not Barq's

Actual best root beer is from a local brewery, so I doubt others here would know of it.

Japan is really weird when you think about it.

Ian has good taste.

The world is really weird.

He's bro, but his writing reads like '93 TV

>but his writing reads like '93 TV
The hell's '93 TV? You mean the year?

How come Rouge is the only bat we ever see? The only other time I can recall other bats being shown was the Yagyu Clan, and they don't exist anymore.

Because reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if the comics introduced another bat at some point

I got bored.

> not a green emerald

's cool and all, user, but no cigar.

Hope so. I'd love to see if Rouge is typical of her species.

Also, more bats makes for a better chance of seeing one sleeping upside down.

I really wish Ian would explore Rouge's history and character a bit more.

Seriously though, how and why does she own a night club?

>I really wish Ian would explore Rouge's history and character a bit more.
SEGA likely says no.

What possible reason could they have to object to Rouge getting more focus? And I mean sane reasons that make sense to normal people, no "LOLSEGA" bullshit.

The best way to expand upon Rouge would really be to give her some sort of backstory. Explain why she became a criminal, how she met up with GUN. It'd go a long way towards expanding upon her character and explaining why she's so close to Shadow.

Forgot to finish.
But since Sega doesn't want the comic adding backstories to anyone since that'd diverge from the games too much, it kind of messes things up. I'm sure there's other ways of expanding upon her character, but at least some sort of backstory would be nice+

>how
Probably funds it with her government paycheque. She was working directly for the President in SA2, she's gotta be making mad cash even if it's in jewels.

>why
She feels like it.

Basically, it could contradict with future SEGA game canon or simply SEGA doesn't like it. If Ian and crew add more backstory for her and at some point a game does it differently, then they have a problem. Of course, I doubt SEGA/Sonic Team will ever explore it, but they enforce it anyway.

>it would diverge from the games too much
So, basically because they're lazy. See, by that reasoning, the obvious solution to this would be to give the game characters some backstory, which would require a few hours work at most.

>how she met up with GUN
It's really sad that Sonic X of all things bothered to explain this, but not the actual games.

As for Shadow, I like to think Rouge has/had a sibling that was like him, but they got into some trouble by pushing people away, and she doesn't want Shadow to go down that same path. And she probably became a criminal because she grew up poor on the streets of a rough town, and stole to survive, but when she finally managed a steady lifestyle, she found she enjoyed the challenge.

There, I just pulled all that right out of my ass in about a minute. What's your excuse, SEGA?

>There, I just pulled all that right out of my ass in about a minute. What's your excuse, SEGA?

Japs are not really good writers, they are just flashy storytellers in general.

>good writers
You don't even necessarily need to be a good writer to give a character backstory. That street urchin thing I just made up is pretty fucking basic, a blurb on the toy box. But SEGA can't even be bothered to come up with flavor text.

I don't even care that SEGA can only rarely belt out a good game these days, the problem is that so obviously don't care. That's disgusting. This is what you do, so put some damn effort into SOMETHING. Goddamn.

Jays are bad at putting effort into things. Like how every Shonen protagonist is a plucky, clueless teenager who lives in a slightly supernatural world that goes on adventures in order to find a McGuffin(s).

Seriously?

No. He's joking. Either that or reading too deeply into things

Hell, didn't Fleetway give their own explanation for how Sonic ended up with super speed? Kintobor's experiment that gave Sonic access to the Speed Force, and mad Kintobor insane.

There's never been any reason given for Sonic's powers in the games. Nor do we know how he and Tails first met, or where the hell Amy comes from. Fucking Knuckles doesn't even really have a canon backstory. The only thing we know is that he's the Master Emerald guardian, because.

And of course, as I say this, I realize that fucking Penders probably ruined any chance of us ever finding out, because now Knuckles and anything to do with him are toxified to shit. Fan-fucking-tastic.

>Hell, didn't Fleetway give their own explanation for how Sonic ended up with super speed? Kintobor's experiment that gave Sonic access to the Speed Force, and mad Kintobor insane.
That was the explanation that Sega of America came up with, which was supposed to be canon to the western continuity. The Archie comics didn't go with it because the cartoons didn't.

I think Sonic's ability to go fast is something that should be unexplained. I like to think it's an ability he's always had, not much else to it

Yeah, I think trying to explain why Sonic is fast (or blue for that matter) is unnecessary. It's just the way he is, no reason to assume it's that weird within its own context.

C-comic day?!?

>There's never been any reason given for Sonic's powers in the games
why do we need to know this

>Nor do we know how he and Tails first met
Both Sonic 2's manual and Sonic Adventure show this

>or where the hell Amy comes from
Both Sonic CD's manual and Sonic Adventure show this

>Fucking Knuckles doesn't even really have a canon backstory
Last of the the Knuckles Tribe which has been dying off after being genocided by a god they angered? Again, did you just not notice there exist Sonic games or something? Or do you just need to have every single thing explained in detail? Do we really need to be told "Knuckles guards the Emerald because he's the only one left to do so" explicitly, isn't "he's the last of his kind" and "flashbacks showing his tribe was killed by a God from the Master Emerald they angered" enough?

This is less "the japs are lazy writers", more the tendency in Western fandoms to want every-single-detail-explained. Hey, Archie Sonic Online is doing a story about the first time Tails ate a chili dog- you'll like that!

Next Wednesday

>Both Sonic 2's manual
Not him, but I'll post the Japanese one, since it's quite detailed
Sonic the Hedgehog is always searching for new adventure in his life. Today, luck was on his side; Sonic discovered a beautiful lush island, rich with greenery and pleasing to the senses. "All right!" Sonic thought to himself. "I'll rest here for a while." The white smoke escaping from Sonic's plane "the Tornado" drew a long arch in the sky, its shadow stretching out over the length of the island.

The legend of West Side Island, the Island of Illusion, tells that many years ago, a people here based the development of their civilization on a collection of strange stones, and employed their greatest philosophers to theorize on the true power of these stones. In order to gain these powers, some attempted to channel the energy of the stones for their own evil intents. These attempts, however, came to naught. Since, the legends tell that the stones have been sealed by the gods somewhere on this island.

Some days passed since Sonic landed on the island. One day, while Sonic explored a region of the island, he noticed that he was being watched by someone behind him. He turned around and saw that a small fox had been secretly following him. Seeing Sonic's face, the startled fox shyly hid in the shade of a coconut tree. Ignoring the fox, Sonic began to run, but the fox, seeing him leaving, started running after him with all his strength. Seeing the determination on its face, Sonic changed his mind about the little fox. "I may as well let him follow me," he said to himself, and stopped running. He decided to make friends with the young fox.

Miles Prower was a small kitsune, who sported two tails instead of one. For this reason, the animals of West Side Island nicknamed him "Tails". Miles was happy with his life, but after meeting Sonic his view changed. He made a decision to improve his skills, and so he began to hang around Sonic all day long.

One early afternoon, Miles discovered a superb plane resting on the beach; he rushed to get a closer look at it. The curving outline of the plane's sleek, streamlined body impressed him. It was just the kind of vehicle Miles liked. He strolled towards the front of the plane, admiring its impressive fuselage. He stopped as he saw Sonic asleep in the cockpit. He quickly scampered back to the rear, hoping not to wake him.

Suddenly, Miles saw a brief flash of light coming from the direction of the nearby woods. Without any further warning, rumbling explosions and columns of flame rose above the trees, scattering stones, leaves and branches in all directions. Miles watched in terror as the spectacle unfolded before his eyes. From within the burning red forest, an army of robots marched forth, cluttering the earth.

Miles watched, stunned, as the explosions continued. But even Miles in his fear did not realize the full scope of the situation. Sonic watched the burning forest with anger in his eyes. "Eggman..." Sonic breathed, remembering his arch-enemy with contempt. He jumped down onto the beach and gazed up at the wood beyond. Something was beginning. Having fainted for a few seconds, Miles collected himself and ran to catch up with Sonic.

"Da - Ha ha ha ha!!" The loud laughter echoed around the wood; Doctor Eggman was nearby.

"Finally, my plan is underway! The Chaos Emeralds sleep somewhere on West Side Island, the Island of Illusion, so it will be easy to expel my adversary Sonic! Soon, my supreme weapon, The Death Egg, will be launched into space. Just you wait, Sonic, this time, THIS time I will gather the Chaos Emeralds, and with their power I will defeat you! Thus, I, Dr. Eggman, shall become master of this world! Daa-HA HA HA!!"

The players are set. Here begins the adventure and emotion. Let's go!

...

Okay after much deliberating, I thought maybe including my favorite Freedom fighter group in my story plus the protag would be okay.
So out of the roster who would you take out and replace?
So it's:
Walt
Stu
Barby
Bill
Thrash
And no one else I'm missing on this list, and any attempt to correct will be met with intentional obliviousness

What kind of story are you writing? Also you're forgetting the emu.

I"M PRETTY SURE THERE WASN'T A USELESS EMU ON THAT TEAM. NOPE. NO EMUS.
I've been poking around here a few times. I commented on it maybe being about thunderbolt, and Mighty forced to work together after being stranded in another world. The Downunda FF or other versions of them are there.

>I commented on it maybe being about thunderbolt, and Mighty forced to work together after being stranded in another world. The Downunda FF or other versions of them are there.
Pretty neat idea. Although I'd like to think that with the whole "zen training" Mighty's been getting, maybe Based Emu can accentuate that with the dreamtime mumbo jumbo

Sonic's a faker.

BOY. WHO IS THIS EMU YOU KEEP MENTIONING?
I was looking for a more "Thunderbolt is a treacherous cunt, but if she wants to get back to her precious Eggman, she needs to get her shit straight." and Mighty is more "Do what you can in front of you" So therein lies the conflict. A villain who wants to eliminate her enemy but must learn to trust someone who isn't her master, and a hero who wants to save a world that isn't his to save.

Wasn't Bill kicked out when he joined the Dark Egg Legion? I imagine he's got an anti-hero/double agent role, now, so he wouldn't count.

PS: plz don't make Barby suck. We need to wash the drama out of our mouths with that one.

>I was looking for a more "Thunderbolt is a treacherous cunt, but if she wants to get back to her precious Eggman, she needs to get her shit straight." and Mighty is more "Do what you can in front of you" So therein lies the conflict. I like it. Though one question: Is the world they go to the pre-reboot universe or something else entirely?

Wait, why are Thunderbolt and Mighty in Tralius? Or failing that, why are the Downunda Freedom Fighters in Soumerca? What's going on here?

Something entirely different. I was going with an Other-M feel, but with Thunderbolt being on the heroes side of this world and Mighty on the "bad" side. In this case the Downunda being a band of ruthless mercs.
Well for one she won't have those gay ass gloves.

If you're going to shift everything to the point of anti-verse chicanery, making sure your pitch is good is key.

Are we talking "anti-characters in their own mirror setting" or "our characters in a dark mirror setting"?

cartoons

Hmm. It's kinda both but leaning more towards our characters in a dark mirror setting
