How do I farm mimics efficiently?

With traps and a flat surface with natural walls behind it so that mimics will spawn in front of them.

I'm not too good at building. Pic related is probably the only time I ever decided to actually put work into making something, and it's still in progress.

Try putting a block of dirt painted to match the canopy and let a regular vine grow from it instead of using vine ropes (except in the interior), it might look better.

Tree houses are the worst, fuck trying to finish them

This has really cute little balconies on top left/right though.

I think that generally tree houses should be kept relatively small to avoid most issues that crop up when they're too big.
