from this we can infer that either you don't get x2 bleed for double attacks, or possibly the resin only counts once

If you're a dedicated bleed build, not so much. The Chaos blade is best used for it's dex scaling.

So, for casting

Crystal Staff for normal spells, Izalith Staff for dark spells

Sunlight Talisman or Yorshka's Chime for normal miracles, Sunless Talisman or Caitha's Chime for dark miracles

Flame for pyrmancies because it's literally the only option unless you're doing stupid sacred flame glitch
