The story telling was done in an absolutely superb manner. The paging book with just enough animations to get the scenes across, the piano soundtrack which covered the whole spectrum of emotions from despair, to sadness, to fond memories, to the inspirational.
It gave me the fucking goosebumps every time the Avalon guys stepped up to the fucking plate.

Super Stardust Delta is pretty straightforward. You can set custom modes and which planet you want.

Spelunky has an intro skip button so you can get into the gameplay quickly.

Ah yes the dragon rider, from then on you can fight miniboss-like enemies in dungeons as random encounters.

All you have to due is grind and wait till Blacksmith Sheep to show up and upgrade your weapons.

Encountering them in silence zones sucked.
Seriously, they were easy as hell when you could just spam poison.

Everyone plays the game differently. So, it would be unfair to say that you did well while everyone else fared poorly. It took three times to finally kill the boss but I upgraded my equipment and when looking for the Dragon Riders so I could get exp.

Do you remember what levels you had your party? I remember that I tried that boss with most of my party being under 30. Didn't go well. Had to grind to get most of the party to that lvl 30, and everything went smooth.

I was mainly complaining about the dungeon layout, wanting to explore the whole map screwed me real bad.

Yeah, and "no problems" or "annoyance" are also a subjective judgements.

When I pick up DT2, I will probably just choose the girls who are hottest, and skills that sounds the coolest without regard to optimising.
