I don't really like that the Romans are portrayed as some sort of big happy family. The place was founded by a guy who committed fratricide, Julius was a tremendous asshole, Caligula appears to have hated his family after his favorite sister died, and Nero was just a douchebag who brutally eradicated the Julio-Claudian dynasty all in his own. Only game with raids I've played is Granblue, you just start a battle like normal and then invite people to join. Then you fight as you normally would, just that you see the enemy's HP bar go down when others attack and you benefit from debuffs other players cast. Some bosses require a small amount of coordination to deal with certain mechanics, but otherwise the gameplay isn't too different from just playing solo.

In most mobages I known it isn't a direct invitation, as in you click on your friend list and choose people. It's more like "sharing" the boss fight with the rest of your friend list. You "open" it and your friends can see it and join to tag it. Usually who does the most damage gets a MVP bonus but still everyone who participates gets a reward.

We just used class names. Only the GM and the player knew the identity, everyone else had to guess according to physical descriptions and seeing how the Servants fought. Using a Noble Phantasm always gave you away, though. We had a pretty good variety of Servants, a lot of which have appeared in FGO now.
No, we had a very loose system mostly used for roleplay-heavy games. Not a lot of rolling involved at all outside of fights, which were mostly just attack and dodge rolls with the occasional NP being thrown out.
