I admit I got burned out and now I'm bitter at beth, but those 2 weeks were the highlight of my adult life.

World got nuked. It takes place in the decaying remains of Russias metro system about 60 years after the world ended. The whole metro is basically independent factions (communists, nazi and various independent stations) fighting each other for control of the metro station. It's so bad there pre war bullets are used as currency. Also lots of mutant creatures and paranormal shit is in the tunnels between the stations. There's been radio silence since 20 years after the bomb fell so as far as the metro knows they're the only humans left. It's like stalker but underground

So the simulation thing is pretty cool, I liked it.

Actually, it takes place exactly 20 years after the atomic war. Hence why Artyom can remember shit from above ground

Kek. The only trouble I had was the Train puzzle in that one station. There was this spot with a skeleton and a duffle bag, and I tried for like an hour and a half trying to get to it. Then I found out it was impossible without TCL. It only contained random loot, the duffle bag.

I honestly didnt know until like a couple hours in when i finally leveled up, and noticed a perk I had previously the max rank in was no longer the max rank.

I though i had a bug, but then recalled it was only a 3 tiered perk, and now it was 4.

Yeah, I posted a xedit shot of some of the perks in the previous thread, and it includes some e.g. LW rank 4.
It seems really odd to me that they would add this in a DLC though. This sort of content, affecting base-game mechanics, isn't going to play nicely with other DLC, unless they override the perks with exactly the same info. But then that removes the incentive to buy _this_ DLC for those perks in the first place.
