The enemies are too spoongy for Survival Mode to be fun.

It seems no game dev understands the fun difficulty behind the souls games. The enemies can kill you easily but you should be able to kill them just as easily.

So I decided to map out the quests of NV since that one user said that like 1/3 of NV's quests are nothing but repeated versions of the same quest.

I'm not autistic enough to do all the quests, so I just went with the main quests, and boy oh boy are there a LOT of quests directly connected to progression of main quest.

So, NCR Heavy Troopers still kinda hold up, even now that training isn't a thing. Instead of trying to make the exoskeletons work, they just decided to strip off the armor and slap on some air conditioning units. Makes sense, what with their limited technical capability

In light of the changes to power armour mechanics they could just use the armour plating as armour and take it off of the frame. Power armour in the previous titles was just metal cosplay so its hard to compare them.

I don't think you know how Bethesda and their engines manages meshes and textures.
If you'd extract the respective .ba2 files (known as .bsa in previous iterations of the engine), they'd just be put in the folders "Meshes" and "Textures" you might know from modding. While the engine prioritizes everything put into those two folders (which is why installing/modding "skins" is so piss easy and don't even need an .esp in most cases), it uses the Vanilla/.ba2 assets if there's nothing in those folders.
Anyway, if extracting the meshes and textures for the Robobrains, they would just overwrite each other. They're not two separate copies, they're the same, with the same directory, included within both DLCs.

Despite being a soldier there's an option to ask what power armor is. And what a minigun is. And what a dead drop is.

Dead drop is maybe excusable by that logic, and power armor to a degree since it's a Fallout thing, although anyone with a brain should be able to figure out the basic concept of what power armor is for.
