Plus how the case would play out was probably already written. It's easier to change who the second victim is rather than remove them all together.

Ishida was so halfassed. They don't even let him live for a full chapter, and they didn't even finish his free time events. Ishida is and always will be Ishimaru's worst aspect of his character because we will never see how he could have overcame it.

Uh, it was cool how far Ishimaru was willing to go for Mondo, because that's just the kind of person he is, and he's very dedicated and devoted to the people he cares about.

I wanna talk about Celeste.

I kinda have two problems with her:
1. She was so obviously a threat from the moment Makoto talked to her, but the game kept emphasizing in her case that she always talked about adapting. It's like the game expected to actually trick the audience into thinking Celeste was something she wasn't. But the way it came off was like Celeste has no idea what type of image she projects to other people, which should be the opposite of what she should be coming off as as the SHSL Gambler.

2. Her motive is silly. On one hand I kinda respect her for being purely selfish in her motive, but the whole "vampire butler" thing just seems like such a disconnect from what she did. I don't have a problem that she was brought down by greed, I just thought it could've been handled more believably. As it is she just comes off as super shallow.

Did anyone say he did anything wrong?

I like to think her motive was just to ease the burden on the Makoto. She made up the butler stuff. She just wanted to get out of there. That's me being positive.

She was living a lie all of her life, and thought that she could actually deceive the other students, but failed miserably.
The reason Chapter 3 is so awful is because Celes is awful at what she says she is great at, because she is a giant liar.

The Manga touched upon this. Out of the remaining boys post chapter 3, none of the boys fit her criteria as her ideal butler except Togami showing she views him at least as a candidate to be her personal butler meaning she basically thinks he's handsome.
