I come from the lands of MoO (both oldfag and remake) and have been awaiting Stellaris with open arms, I see it is much more fluid in its territory design, is it essentially going to be a space EU? I've never played any of the other strategy games published by paradox.

I don't see the real difference between warp and hyperdrive. Why would you choose hyperdrive?

Both need drives on your ship but you can just jump directly to each star system instead of going through lanes which I bet is way faster

I don't difference between them, as I only watched that guy with the Russian accent and the Scot. The "easy" (warp?) one just seems to be regular travel, but restricted from system to system? For wormholes you need a space station, but the range and manoeuvrability seem great if you can actually defend your stations. I haven't seen the other one yet
