I got smithing xp via Elemental workshop 1 and 2, and Knight's Sword first, then when I could, I did family crest and then superheated gold until 60.

basically what's now osg has just started from Caravan HQ, except every half a year the members get pissy about who the leader and mods are, so they start their own cc promising not to have mods ban for nothing, and it just goes into a cycle of that. what's now q cc basically started from No Fun VG except it's now lost everything that No Fun VG was and it's now just a cc for people who think they're too good for osg, while both ccs are just as bad. i think they kept hopping around from ccs too like Lewd and Kg because they either got pissy at the leader too or the leader quit and there was no one to moderate the chat anymore. basically, the ccs have always been the main cc, the cc that doesn't want to be the main cc because they're 2cool, and 3lyra which was seen as the 'elitist' cc but that's not true anymore because mobius started inviting people for corp.
