Any way to fuck with the AI to draw them away from their station? I retardedly declared war on my annoying neighbour, which is probably going to cost me in development in the long run, but I just want to get to grips with the mechanics.

This is their capital, went around and fucked their mining shit up and I think I need to blockade this to get enough warscore to win (I never played CK2 so the whole warscore shit is lost on me)

Where is the white only mods/patch?

Yeah, I noticed something like that. It's still pretty buggy, in true Paradox style.

But I reloaded because I'm not playing Ironman just yet. Part of me wonders whether fleet warfare is bugged, but I've been in only one proper war. And it was against religious peaceniks who make perfect slaves, so eh.

How do I host a LAN game?
There is only one option for Host Game. I want it to be LAN only, no internetfags.

It's a 4x game, it's as complex as most 4x games

I never played CK2/EU4 for more than about 15 minutes because the UI annoyed me and the fact that everything was hidden behind menus and wasn't really explained.

This has fairly similar mechanics, I'm not sure if it's the UI or the setting, but it just feels far, far friendlier. I'll admit I watched a couple of pre-release vids but I feel I know what I'm doing.

It can take a while, but early game is very similar to a 4x like Civilization, including tech trees, resources, combat to a degree, etc.

The UI is very clean and easy to understand once you know what it all does and you won't find yourself assdeep in a trillion menus.

Just take it slow if you get it. Start the first human democratic option, and get familiar with things and then start a real game after a couple times messing around and learning the basics.

How do you upgrade Military Stations? Are they upgraded instantly when you update the designs?

This is where I run into difficulty with the UI and game mechanics.

What can I do with a vassal? I imagine it's going to be a pain in the arse to try and get them to like me, especially with them being religious zealouts, and they'll just end up rebelling.

Is there a way to just exterminate them?

Are hyperplanes just better than warp drives?

Warp drives seem to do nothing a hyperplane can.

You need to upgrade your landed colonisation vessel that acts as the home base to the next level.

I kind of wish I used spiral galaxy and limited everyone to hyperspace lane tech, just so tactical placement of troops is more important.

You need 5 pops to upgrade your planetary capital. Its also grant bonus to adjective squares(energy,mineral,food) so its worth put somewhere in the middle not in the corner.

If you want the thing to appear pretty in the ruler designer thing then go to localisation/l_english.yml, ctrl+f "human 1" and add a description entry for the germanic names.

It mostly maintenance. You pay for fleet, troops, buildings and stations, and droids.
So get more of it.

Guys im kinda confused. EU 4 player here. In EU 4, one could simply get a big army and start invading other countries. In this game, fleet limit is very close to each other (Comparing nations). Is there an effective way to outpower other nations militarily?

Tghis game is a wasted potential. Its play nice but its shallow.
AI is brain dead and most things have no use in the game or is extremely limited.
Can't dumb disloyal pops into penal colony because
