No. I think they saved it from obscurity. I don't like the new style as much as the pure CRPG style but I'd rather have this than nothing. I kind of wish we'd seen Kickstarter five years sooner though, we might have had a less jarring jump in genres.

For this specific one you have to go in a clockwise loop to redirect the beams, everything is behind you.

Gotta connect the green beam to the little cube in the middle, look around for blocks to store and use the block with the little green arrow on it to direct the beams.
Make sure to store blocks to rebuild the bridges f or your little bug thingies and place turrets around to defend your bugs.
It really is quite simple once you get the hang of it.
