She's slightly better in the issue itself, but Peppers' art doesn't do her many favors. It's not awful, but it's not as good as say, abt, Jenhen, or even current Yardley
For some reason they used the concept art instead of the issue's art.

She looked good on the cover at least?

Not a bad first appearance, but it honestly makes me anxious to see how the other artists do her.

So far the only good thing about Ducly. Her team is full of fucking cuties!

She can't do that on her own? That just makes her look like she needs help.

Sonic manages it solo a fair few times.

Also her design is pretty meh. It's looks like a sports team mascot, or at least more so than a normal Sonic character.

Still better than her old one. Honestly it looked a lot better on the cover because it was drawn by someone who can actually draw.

so how do languages work on notmobius? They clearly say 'say ni hao to-' when introducing the team, but everyone communicates in the same language. Is there a base mobian everyone speaks and regional languages? Are there species only dialects? Like could Sally and her family speak chipmunk together, or is chipmunk an accent and when they all chat sonic has to smirk as they all chipmunk out together despite being royalty? Is there a mobian chinese? Is it a mix of mandarin and cantonese? are there both?

I know it seems a bit in depth but its fun to think about.

Yeah it really wasn't. It took a while to find it's footing and by the time it gained momentum around Champions, it lost it with Worlds Unite
