How could I miss two 95s in a row this game is such bs

Doesn't matter, you did fine, prepare for angry posters though

Also 2n for pure and innocent codex

This Kills The Codex.

You can't kill a Codex with a gun or an EMP they just reskullify :^)

>Have double pods and that one mod that makes all pods activate on
Do I have to restart for ayy rulers?

>mfw some of my edits are still making it to the imgur dump
Feels good man

My standards aren't very high :^)

>Snek fags all getting cucked like the heretics they are

I doubt alien rulers will work on any campaign in progress.

Codices are forever my "We Anime Now" enemy.

...

Why codices and not avatars?

Not that user, but it can be? I've never seem it happen so I figured it was guaranteed damage. I have seen other AOE's dodged though so maybe I just haven't been playing the game long enough.

That's a little more silly, but XCOM 2 definitely has a campy kind of vibe to it that makes me not bothered by the idea. I mean I'm sure they could bullshit some sort of explanation for it like them being special genetic engineering projects that pushed the boundaries of things even the aliens have done before or something, but I don't think it's needed.

I've seen explosives outright miss, though I can't remember if it was in my own campaigns, or Beagle's streams

Hey /xcg/, I haven't gotten around to playing again since a while after release. Has the game improved much since then? Thoughts on how it is now?

Has the Codex found her soulmate?

>Has the game improved much since then?
a bit, yeah
>Thoughts on how it is now?
You literally one day too early, come back tomorrow after we get latest announced patch

Bluescreen Protocol = fuck off

XCOM 2 has such beautiful art.

Sorry, wrong pic.

Maybe you are bagle so theres no difference

Full folder should be in the OP pastebin somewhere

>not having the door on the truck be a third color color too
cmon jake

REEEEE WoW HALO RIP OF CARS

Huh that's really strange. Reminds me of when I got used to using Shredstorm Cannons and figured that there was no way Saturation Fire could miss this really important shot.

I haven't had any problems personally, but I only started playing recently so I don't know if it's due to my computer just magically working with it or if the patches actually improved things that much. There's a new big patch tomorrow though.

>truck is clearly made from salvaged parts of other trucks
>not having a blue door just to go with the salvaged look

It looks shiny and new and its concept art.

>salvaged look

It doesn't even have a door, actually

I don't think the truck is the focus of the artwork.

I'd be impressed if he managed to climb inside through the tiny little window. if it wasn't for the lack of a need for infiltration units I'd presume it was an ayy infiltrator.

>He doesn't think the truck is the focus of the artwork
smugunrelatedanime.jpg

...

>he doesn't have anime smugpics easily available

>he goes through the effort to use one up when its better used elsewhere

>he has such a limited supply of smugpics he needs to ration them

>those are two autists doing a smug war

>he turns his pc into an archive for smug anime pics instead of using it to play video games

Keep it up, this is good shit

And so, with XCom low on men and ADVENT low on supplies, the two decided they'd spam each other with smug anime images until the other capitulated

>he is not using his computer as a multi-purpose tool

>he has such a small hdd/ssd he can't afford to save smugpics

Because of their intro.

>they have run out of smug comments to accompagny their smugpics

Can't reply with a smug comment to my own smug comment m80

I know this is XCOM 2 general but for the sake of not having to start a thread on /v/, is XCOM: The Bureau worth playing as an entry into XCOM?

I just realized that I have it in my steam library.

t-t-thanks bros.

>he forgot to smug comment my smug comment

Its an alright-good tactical shooter depending on your outlook but it is not a good first xcom game at all.

>15 unique ips

wow what the hell happened guys
you're more dead than /ps2g/

it's usually about this dead early in a thread

Threads been up a few hours and drama and shitposters scared a few people away permanently so we have slow times

Its an ok semi-tactical cover based theird person shooter. Its not an xcom game in anyway besides the lore/story (its technically canon, and isn't bad).

Play it if you won't too, but the gameplay has no relation to an actual xcom game.

This ranger is OP as fuck
> Guerilla mission
> Gatekeeper and viper bitch spotted
> Fuck
> Psionic manages to make the viper panic, also deals a good bit of damage and ruptures the bitch. She jumps through a window and cowers in a corner
> Heavy and sniper soften the the gatekeeper with acid grenades
> Ranger you're up
> Run and gun, charges into building into high cover by a window
> Takes a shot at the gate keeper
> Critical!
> Hair trigger kicks in
> Rapid fire
> CRITICAL, CRITICAL
> Gatekeeper dies
> Next turn, viper's still panicked
> Ranger phases through wall and cuts the bitch down with his sword

Flash you my nigga

>No serial
You have not even begun to understand the limits of OP

what are some cliff notes as to why it's not like XCOM 1 or 2?

also what game would be the best entry point then?

Xcom EU/EW/2 is a turn based tactics game, The Bureau is a third person shooter with tactical elements

>watch Civil War
>that moment when War Machine pulls out the fucking stun baton

...

What this guy said.

I would say best entry is XCOM1. When its on sale, you can pick it and the expansion (no point in playing the base game without the expansion if you have it) for about $10. If you enjoy that, you can commit to the bigger purchase that is xcom2.

If you do pick up the game, don't be afraid to ask for help or look up guides/tips. The game isn't newcomer easy, and the tutorial is not useful.

I find with Xcom games the tutorial helps me on the second playthrough when its turned off, I generally fail my first playthrough and the succeed the second one with what I learned from the first and tutorial.

xcom

x-com

[comment about magnificent design]

>best entry point
>not 90'sCOM
>not learning the hard way to smoke the ramp every single time
>not human waving your way to victory your first five months until you git gud
>not burning buildings to the ground because fuck room clearing

Yeah, its awesome, but definitely not newbie friendly.

The Bureau isn't an entry point to XCOM at all, it's an entry point into an entirely different building, and that building is kind of empty. It's also not relevant in a story sense, since most of what it brought to the table has been soundly ignored by the other games.

If you want to get into XCOM, start with EW.

Long Hair mod when?

...

Thats not tactical enough

>long hair
>tactical
No

Vehlen when?

That was my point nerd

eXtraterrestrial COMmunism
heil stalin, leader of the party

...

Fucking hell I'm trying to remember the title of some crazy book that repeatedly mapped out earth at different points in time on a giant disc in one of Magellanic clouds, and fucking space termites took over the world using communism

Is this tactical enough?

The perspective in this picture is really odd

Its tacticute, but isn't actually operator though.

I don't think jeans that tight are operator either

>no shemagh
>no kevlar helmet
>no bitchen shades
>no balaclava
>hair not in military bun
5/10 not particularly tactical, but it could be worse.

I don't think any jeans are supposed to be shiny like that either

Maybe she fell in a vat of the cheating clear shoe polish?

True

I know she was made as waifubait but would a real police oper8r be wearing jeans and shitty trainers?

Even the SAS wore proper tacticool trousers when doing the embassy thingy

Yes, her gear is in fact accurate to the standard wear for GSG-9. Apparently its standard for them to prioritize very fast response over full tactical outfitting, so they throw on the minimum equipment they need and then deploy. Literally like just show up from off the street in their civies and then get equipped.

At least that's what I heard.

Huh, a quick bit of research says you're right (sometimes, they do have tacticool gear), surprised the Germans don't just keep them at work ready to go rather than keeping them as on call.

Yeah, I don't know anything on their exact reasoning for it, all I know is it has resulted in the most "realistic" tactical waifu possible, so for that I am grateful.

I had a jokey observations about germans but upon typing it out I realised it wasn't as funny as it sounded in my head so I have no response other than:
I don't mind my tactical waifu's to be unrealistic tbqh, Selvaria is Raita's best creation and she is unrealistic as fuck

when's alien punters get released in upside down land

need to use my vpn
