Not like she can do anything. Just like pretty much every setting is not consistent with itself it's definitely not consistent with the derivative works based on it.
2 things to consider:
1. She's not "fired" because there's no official work with her that features a scene of her being fired. It's a "real life event" influencing a "real life product". In no way the fictional world was affected. That's not always the case though: consider South Park that is heavily influenced by the current real life events.
2. Fictional work can affect the real life. If someone published the aforementioned "your mom and her boyfriends" doujin somewhere around her workplace and her employers saw it she might get fired as well. Another example is the most likely fictional Jesus fucking up most of the world for millenia.
