Is there some cheat or such you could use to get two extra trait picks? I want to into cheating .

thank god for the white race mod. i dont want to build a terran empire with unemployed coon pops hanging around not doing shit like they were back on old Earth

where's the patch

Console commands m8.

New patch where

>Literally just drag and drop them.
I'm literally retarded, thankyou.

Max ability caps happiness, but any happiness +% pushes it above
The habitability traits seem useless or am I completely wrong?

Also, does anyone know if the output traits actually do anything?

Steam

You're literally welcome.

Is this worth getting/buying? The map where you play looks huge, how does it run compared to EU4?

Materialist>>>>>Individualist>Collectivist>Pacifist>Xenophobe>Spiritualist>>>>>>Xenophile

Don't try to deny it. It's the truth.

>The habitability traits seem useless or am I completely wrong?
Early on it's useless, but when you get tech that lets you colonise planets with 40% habitability it gets a lot better.

>Find stone age peoples living on inhabitable planet
>They're literally all black humans with the agricultural trait
>Send a colony, immediately enslave the entire xenos population
>Build a shitload of farms and put them all to work

Feelsgoodman, now i want to start shipping them to my other planets so i can substitute my human slaves with xeno ones. Only problem is that it takes so much damn influence to forcibly relocate pops. Any tips on faster influence gain?

>how does it run compared to EU4?
Very smoothly.
It does slow down a bit at around sixty years in, but it's still very quick.

After playing for about two centuries it's started running slow as shit but it was fine until I started having multiple 50k fleets.

>all these barren planets
>religious fanatics have habitable ocean planets everywhere in their territory but can't live there

time to build an army i suppose and stop bashing my only fleet into random pirates

i'm getting galactic civilizations 2 feelings from this game

I'm honestly pretty excited about what this game will look like in a few years after massive DLC support and tons of mods.

*tips fedora*

xth for the RING

Also can user from previous thread give me link to his mod that adds ring on start?

Rival everyone around you that aren't your allies.

>uplift tech is a chimp in a suit

How do I get my Federation to stop following my fleet?

so i won a war to liberate a race, does this just free them from being vassals from their rulers?

their opinion of me is still in the gutter, there's my good deed for the day

How you get dat

split up your shit.
AI thinks you doom stack because you need the firepower for something big so they stack on top of you.

They never asked for this.

Its Fallen Empire "Homeworld"

But you can just Terraform

>you can still completely manage planets after dropping them into divisions
So what do you even lose with a division? 25% of your energy/mineral production?

>How to abuse fallen empires
>Make them like you over time with embassy (they are patronising to me :'^) )
>Offer them research agreement for 30 years
>This is worth a lot in trade despite them having 0 advantage of it
Ayyyy, let the minerals come

i am hanging my head in shame

All your leaders become 5 stars and use a democracy with influence event spam if you need influence, you can literally fill yourself with tech edicts and never have to worry about them dying at all or influence in general. Also your god emperor will never be elected out cause you've filled him with American tier super delegate powers

Get up to 40% research speed with no ethic divergence and happines everywhere. Also, gods dont die. (yours is probably the more optimal one though.)

First time I've had this event.

you lose nothing if you continue to colonize planets way past your personal limit
can also set to gain everything produced by sectors in the same menu

You can't manage surface buildings or pop placement, you can still manage everything about the army and starport. And the 25% energy and minerals.

>settle arctic world
>pops create independence movement
>can't raise happiness
What do I do?

>this glitch
what the fuck I'm dying, my sides

What does the Keepers of Knowledge Fallen Empire attack you over?

Sentient AI? Jump Drives?

Fallen Empires, but you can also find half destroyed rings randomly in the galaxy.

Don't settle worlds with low habitability?
Or terraform and hope that in the 10 years of -100 happiness they won't revolt.

so i got -10% all energy production with "Inefficient Planet Managment". What causes it? How to stop it?

build robuts

Any dangerous tech.

Purge them all.
Or just grant them independence and let them live in misery on their shitty ice rock.

>neighbors seem to be locked in war with an independent giant for decades
>invade one of the pact members
>win with ease
>find same circumstance a decade later
>win with ease
>no fleet fights ever again
great game

drop a colony on it

I'm tweaking it right now, gimme a moment

are you telling me there's no rally point system in this fucking game?

good to know that wasn't from me fucking with game files

>What causes it?
Inefficiently managing your planets.

#trump2016

I havent encountered a fallen empire yet, what are they?

>can win 2k minerals in 30 years

This is literally worth nothing.

Not sure what's with those guys, but they will get the hair of the latest human you edited I think. Had the same thing.

Looks real slick with the other haircut, doesn't stretch and fits perfectly, kind of like some funny alien/human integration programme in action.

They just hang around with huge tech and don't do anything until you piss them off. They start off with a decent sized empire but never expand or build anything.

Cant stump

Anyone got the dlc zips for the empire icons and platypus race?

So what triggers end-game events with the Unbidden and AI revolts?

>Start game
>Check the nearest system with science vessel once home system finishes surveying
>2 80% habitability and 2 60% habitability planets

>tfw sentient AI research shows up when I'm playing an adeptus mechanicus styled human race

Oh boy, time to repeat history!

So keepers of knowledge will attack if you research dangerous stuff, enigmatic observers will attack if you enslave/purge xenos near them, holy guardians will REEEEEE if you settle their beta worlds.

What about militant isolationists? Settling anywhere near them? Sharing a border?

Overuse of Psi Jump Drive can summon Unbidden

Is that what the advanced civilizations options does in the very beginning?

>What about militant isolationists? Settling anywhere near them?
Yes.

Sounds like someone doesn't need to expand at all.

Fuck stations, you've got buildings.

Yes

Wew lad.

So glad I went back to hyperdrive.

>Species Plural
Terrans
>Species Adjective
Terran
>Species Naming List
Human 2
>Ruler Name
Dugalle
>Homeworld Name
Terra
>Star Name
Solas
>Empire Adjective

Unbidden: running around with jump drives.
AI: the appropriate tech and synthetics, synthetics everywhere.

Do you think you've made the OP ultimate nation that can never be defeated? I'll put it to the test.

I'm going to be running an overnight session featuring twenty custom nations all produced by you guys. All I need is for you to put your empire selection screens like the United Nations of Earth one I have in my image.

Optional details you can provide include:
>Species Plural
>Species Adjective
>Species Naming List
>Ruler Name
>Homeworld Name
>Star Name
>Empire Adjective
But those aren't necessarily. I'll randomly generate those if I have to.

So, post your Stellaris races if you want to get involved in this shitfest.

So far, got ten candidates, need ten more. Halfway there and will post the current candidates in the next post.

>can't start off as a robot AI empire

Just a minute after that I found a third system with 1 80% and another with a 60%

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

Yeah, you REALLY don't want those fuckers in your galaxy. They will wipe the slate clean.

Sheeit, i set it at 8 and havent seen any, so that means that the other half of the galaxy must be filled with those fuckers.

what the fuck does make planet inefficiently managed?

N O.

Advanced AI gives a few normal ais a head start, it does nothing to fallen empires.

What kind of firepower do you need to actually push their shit in?

And here are the first ten contestants.

Also, since half of the flags have fucking deep blue as their primary color, I reserve the right to change your color to make your empire more distinct on the map.

>everyone here plays le epic xenophobe human empire

Just cuck my shit up now

I thought someone said they were the weakest endgame shit.

see

>When Fallen Empire 50k strenght fleet tp's next to your capital

how do I make my slavs happy?

What are you doing?

>found the imperium
>run by God emperor trump
>extreme xenophobe materialists
>expand peacefully blasting pirates, crushing descenders and space ameabas
>my people applaud my war against the space ameabas
>suddenly alien after alien starts talking to me
>tell them all to mind their own business and I'll mind theirs
>happily colonizing and expanding
>aliens form some confederation
>surrounded on 3 sides
>establish embassies and build planetary forces
>build platforms and station fleets around the outer rim of my territory
>aliens claim I need to liberate my colonies (lol wut)
>come at me bro
>massive fleet somehow bypasses all my territory and appears around holy terra
>destroys my space station
>my extreme defense platform does jack all
>shed my fleets back in
>getting obliterated
>new fleets of aliens move in on my undefended colonies
>rage quit

The fuck happened??

Time to make an impenetrable fortress system that you'll never leave and keep filling with defensive platforms.

No one enters
No one leaves

I'm probably the only person who made an alien race that's reliant on mercantilism and manipulates others.

My cruisers and destroyers with lvl 3 missiles are getting rekt by a corvette stack, what do?

How does this stack up next to their other games?

>border fallen empire
>genocide some ayylmaos deep in my territory (they had become space-faring and fucked up my borders and didn't have enough space to manage their planet)
>they get pissed and declare war and want half my planets
>even this late into the game they're still overwhelming in strength
fuk

It's pretty original, considering literally EVERY SINGLE AI is xenophile for some reason.

Just cuck my shit up.

I had a batch show up midgame-ish. The worst thing about them is the fucking stations they put up, I hope you like going slow. That being said, I got the rift closed with SUPERIOR TACTICS and maybe 25k fleet power?

>implying

I made the Shadows.

/civ4Xg/ lives in death.
/civ4Xg/ Lives in Death!
/civ4Xg/... LIVES!

Face it, you don't have the population to survive on your own. Not even /pol/ tier memes can keep you alive.

youtube.com/watch?v=1sN6LQykAdM

This timelapse should give you some insight as to why you don't want them.

It is either here or on /gsg/. This game isn't like Civilishit.

Why can't I terraform my colony? It's has a terraforming station and I have the resources needed

Its the simplest and easiest one to jump in to. Theres not as much focus on economy or pops like in vicky or hoi but more in depth exploration and fun random events that change the course of your game.

>my aggressive anal probing of primitives has made them xenophobic
