I personally prefer to just keep the Veeky Forums string of numbers for things I save from here. Sort of a way to differentiate between what comes from my own hands and what comes from others'.

It's completely okay, user. Some people (myself included) feel better after getting whatever ails them off their chest so I can stand reading it.

But that's such a drag, and long filenames have that pesky "(...)" too. Some user said their phone saves images keeping the original filename. Maybe I need to use the mobile version on desktop?

The strings are fine, like you say to differentiate (and appreciate that you saved something someone else posted), but original filenames would help not saving pictures multiple times.

I'm still here user. I'm using a mobile app known as Clover. As far as I'm aware, using the mobile website for Veeky Forums does not keep the original filename.

On the other hand, saving the same image under multiple different filenames that don't follow any obvious patterns or are all just the Veeky Forums string of numbers lets you pretend you're multiple people for all the good and bad that gives you.

If I'm not sure if I already have an image saved or not, I look through what I have before saving or not saving it. Helps that my memory is good enough to keep track of the 1086 Max images so I don't have to check whether or not it'd be a duplicate most of the time anyway but still.

Apropos disk space, the 30/40/50+ GB size games are reaching nowadays is something I don't like at all since most of the time it's pretty much unjustified and it also makes me really feel like my old computer is getting too old which I don't like because it has been, and still is, a good and trusty computer.

Mine is not the newest either. But I satisfy most of my media needs online, and only have a handful of games installed and so I have a lot of space. Sometimes I'm tempted to move my images from HDD to my 250GB SSD though, since they take a while to load. But yeah, storing 50GB+ games on SSD would get pretty expensive fast.

user, my relationship with my family is nonexistent. They have their own problems, too.

I have no "emotion grabber" whatsoever. I have enough knowledge on depression to know that I'm far passed that coping strategy. I have already been diagnosed with Dysthymia and Anxiety Disorder in the past, but my negligence with medication has changed my circumstances.

My appetite is linked to a lot of things. It's just that the amount of effort to eat feels so intense compared to the brief sickness and pay off of consuming food.

I know logically it is vital, of course, but it's not enough to make me do anything.

I know this sounds like a lot of denial and stupidity, but I have things that I'm doing, some semblance of a plan to help me. I still have some ability to plan and manage consequence.

A good selective memory is even better than just a good one. We were talking about storage space, and well, it's not important for you to know how many images I have and so you forget. Although "euphemism" may be more handy to remember than the penguin story. But you never know.
