Fireball/Ice Block kills everything except Coldlight/Naturalize, Innervate/Loatheb, and Bolster/Target Dummy

Innervate/Loatheb kills everything that runs spells but dies to minions

Mechwarper/Metaltooth kills everything but Fireball/Ice Block

Did I miss anything?

It might be a "better" game but retards here always underestimate the fact that one game is clearly aimed at casuals who by DEFINITION are the majority of players

It's the same idiots who think that because League of Legends is more casual than DotA 2, it should have a smaller playerbase. DotA 2 is literally everything is free and it still doesn't come close to League's playerbase.

This is actually the funnest idea I've heard yet. Just tried it out and beat a few tryhards with it, including a frost bolt + ice spear mage.

Shifter is a fun card, I wish it was reliable enough to play in my real decks.

Magic player here, this is very true. A lot of new magic players are turned off by the complexity of the game, and some migrate to EDH were they try to enforce their own rules of what should and shouldn't be played/is fair.

Also a think that most people of imageboards/forums fail to unerdstand is that even in the magic population, casuals are the ones that buy the most, simply because of their population size. This means that everyone who analyses a new set and cant understand why people are buying "week cards" often forget that many casuals simply buy a couple of packs each set and play at homes with friends.

All this to say you are right. It's a shame really that in HS, people often do their quest in casual with meta decks. The real HS casuals dont really have any place to play their funny combo decks, except with other friends.

Innervate/Armored Warhorse goes kinda even with Mechwarper/Metaltooth, beats Fireball/Ice Block in the absence of nonsense RNG, does pretty well against a bunch of other random decks across the board that might counter metaltooth, and loses a few percentage points off every matchup because innervate flood is a million times worse than mechwarper flood
also does particularly poorly against anything that runs minions that blank the charge, such as (in my experience) Molten Giant, Y'Shaarj, Ethereal Arcanist, and awkwardly enough Gorillabot

Actually, I realize that this is the exact source of people complaining so much about every little thing about the game and how it's played - Hearthstone is for the most part freely accessible and any cheap idiot that's never played a card game seriously can install it, play a bit, yell that it's shit and move on. In magic that person is at least barred a little bit by needing to get a preconstructed deck or something, so the riffraff is kept out.

This brawl is 10/10! Sure, on the surface, degenerate combos are everywhere, but the beauty of it is, there are so many viable combinations that the meta doesn't become stale. The games are also very short so, you can grind out the daily 100 gold in a couple hours.
